Curriculum

KS3 LLW - CCEA

CCEA Key Stage 3 Learning for Life and Work (LLW) helps students develop essential skills for personal wellbeing, citizenship, and future careers. Pupils study topics such as identity, NI and UK politics, and the ‘Community of Lifesavers’, where they learn practical emergency response skills including CPR and the use of defibrillators. Assessment is mainly through classwork and teacher assessment, focusing on applied learning rather than formal exams.

KS4 LLW - CCEA

CCEA GCSE Learning for Life and Work (LLW) focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed for everyday life, work, and society. Students explore areas such as personal development, local and global citizenship, and employability. Assessment includes a combination of written exams and controlled assessment, allowing students to apply their understanding to real-life situations.
